Borowicz and Orth earn All-Conference accolades

GRAND FORKS, N.D- The Summit League announced the 2022-23 Women's Basketball All- Conference awards. North Dakota is proud to announce that Kacie Borowicz made the all-conference team and Claire Orth made the all-defensive team.

Senior, Kacie Borowicz has 564 points this season and she is one point shy of breaking into the top ten in season scoring in UND history. She leads the Fighting Hawks in scoring (564), Field goals (202), free throws (.862). Borowicz has two double doubles this season. She averages 20.1 pts per game which has helped lead North Dakota to an 18-10, 11-7 record.

Graduate student, Claire Orth averages 5.1 rebounds and 1.5 steals per contest. On February 18th, she hit the court for her 136th game for the Fighting Hawks, eclipsing Carissa Jahner (03-07') in career games played. Orth also averages 11.1 points per game and is a .761 free throw shooter. She has been a defensive staple for the last five season. 
 
The Fighting Hawks will #March2TheSummit starting on Sunday March 3rd against Omaha in the quarterfinals at 3pm in Sioux Falls.
