Box Score 2 LUBBOCK, Texas – The North Dakota Softball team wrapped up the Jeannine McHaney Classic Saturday as they fell to Rutgers and Seton Hall.
In game one, UND fell 11-1 to Rutgers as Raimy Gamsby (5-1) got the win and Camryn Lasota (0-7) took the loss. Cassie Casteneda hit a solo shot for the Hawks for her third home run of the season. Against the Pirates, UND built a 5-1 lead but fell 6-5 after a late inning rally by Seton Hall. Jackie Albrecht (0-6) took the loss while Sydney Babik (1-2) got the win.
Key Points
· Madison Pederson racked up three RBIs against Seton Hall, with an RBI single and later a two RBI double. She finished the weekend with nine RBIs on six hits.
· Katie Joten hit her first home run in a UND uniform against Seton Hall.
· Albrecht went 6.2 innings in game two, allowing just one earned run.
