GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota Men's Basketball team announced its nonconference opponents for this coming season. The nonconference slate of games includes six games at the Betty and eight games away from home.
The first game for the Fighting Hawks will be an exhibition at the Betty on Nov. 1 against Northland College. The first regular season game will be a trip to Iowa City to take on Iowa on Nov. 7. UND returns home to take on Elon on Nov. 12, and then host Valley City State on Nov. 12.
During the week of Thanksgiving, the team will head to California first for a showdown with Pacific on Nov. 12, then go to Conway, Ark. for two games at the Central Arkansas Classic. On Nov. 25 the Fighting Hawks play New Orleans followed by a game with Eastern Michigan on Nov. 26.
A busy month of November concludes with a game on Nov. 28 back at home against Concordia (Minn.).
As the calendar turns to December, UND heads west for two games against Cal State Fullerton on Dec. 1 and then UC Riverside on Dec. 3.
UND then returns home to host Portland on Dec. 9 and then Waldorf (Iowa) on Dec. 12.
Finally, the Hawks take their final road swing before conference play as they go to Utah Tech on Dec. 16 and then to Nebraska on Dec. 20.
