GRAND FORKS, N.D. – No. 5 North Dakota hits the road for the first time to battle former conference foe No. 20 Minnesota State for a series beginning on Friday night at 7:07 p.m. from the Mayo Clinic Health Systems Event Center in Mankato, Minn.
All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app, with longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy, who is in his 45th year on the mic for UND hockey, and Darrin Looker calling the action. Friday's game can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox), the flagship station of North Dakota hockey.

Friday marks the 69th all-time meeting between North Dakota and Minnesota State, with UND holding a 40-19-9 advantage in the series.
The two sides met last season in Grand Forks, with UND rolling to a 6-2 win on Friday before playing to a 2-2 tie in the finale on Saturday night.
NoDak will be searching for its first win in Mankato since Mar. 8, 2013, when both teams were still members of the WCHA. UND is 15-6-5 all-time in Mankato.
