NOTES: NCHC play begins at Minnesota Duluth for No. 10 UND

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The NCHC slate gets underway for No. 10 North Dakota, as the Fighting Hawks head to Duluth, Minn. for a series against Minnesota Duluth beginning on Friday night at 7:07 p.m. from AMSOIL Arena.  
 
All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app, with longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy, who is in his 45th year on the mic for UND hockey, and Darrin Looker calling the action. Friday's game can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox), the flagship station of North Dakota hockey.

Friday marks the 258th all-time meeting between North Dakota and Minnesota Duluth, with UND holding a 157-89-11 advantage in the series.
 
NoDak picked up a full 12 points in the previous meetings between the two teams last season, notching a pair of sweeps in Grand Forks and Duluth.
 
The two sides will get used to seeing each other quite a bit, as they have been named travel partners by the NCHC in both the 9-team and 10-team future scheduling models.
