NOTES: No. 5 UND ready for NCAA Tournament battle with No. 11 Michigan

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – It's tournament time. No. 2 seed North Dakota will make its 35th appearance in the NCAA Tournament on Friday evening against third-seeded Michigan in the Maryland Heights Regional Semifinals from Centene Community Ice Center in Missouri.

All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app, with longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy and Darrin Looker calling the action. Friday's game can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox), the flagship station of North Dakota hockey. 

Friday's game can be seen on ESPNU with Roxy Bernstein and Ben Clymer calling the action.  Fans can also watch online on ESPN+ with any device via a subscription.

Friday will be the 92nd all-time meeting between North Dakota and Michigan, with the Wolverines holding a slight 46-41-4 advantage in the series.

This will be the sixth time the programs have played in the NCAA Tournament, with UND claiming three of the first five showdowns.

The two sides have not played since the 2015-16 season, when North Dakota advanced to the Frozen Four with a 5-2 win over Michigan in the regional final.
