Fighting Hawks drop 4-0 decision to Tulsa

| By:
Box Score TULSA, Okla. -- The University of North Dakota men's tennis team fell, 4-0, to Tulsa on Friday evening from the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla.

The Golden Hurricane jumped out to a 1-0 lead with a pair of victories on the No. 2 and 3 courts, but injuries forced both sides to make major changes to their lineups heading into singles action.

UND saw both Victor Moreno Lozano and Ange-Kevin Koua go down with an injury following doubles play, forcing Leandro Zgraggen into the top court. The junior was solid at the No. 1 spot, trading the opening pair of sets to force a tiebreaker, where he held a 2-1 lead when play was halted.

Tulsa grabbed the match victory with three wins on the bottom trio of courts in singles action, but Jerall Yasin and Ethan Terry followed in Zgraggen's footsteps to force a tiebreaker when play was halted at the No. 2 and 3 courts, respectively.

North Dakota will look for its first conference win of the season on Sunday afternoon against Oral Roberts beginning at 1 p.m. from Tulsa.
