SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Summit League announced the 2024 volleyball conference slate on Thursday morning, with North Dakota scheduled to play eight games at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center and eight contests on the road beginning Sept. 26.
UND opens the conference slate with a pair of contests on the road, battling Omaha on Sept. 26 before heading to Kansas City on Sept. 28. The Fighting Hawks return home to begin the month of October against Oral Roberts on Oct. 3, a team that NoDak swept last season, followed by Denver on Oct. 5 and I-29 rival South Dakota on Oct. 10.
The Hawks make a quick trip down I-29 to Brookings for a showdown with South Dakota State on Oct. 12 before turning east to take on St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. on Oct. 17. UND rounds out the opening half of conference play at home against in-state rival North Dakota State from the Betty on Oct. 22 and remains home in a three-match week against Omaha and St. Thomas on Oct. 24 and 26, respectively.
Halloween night brings NoDak down to Vermillion, S.D. to battle the Coyotes before opening November at Oral Roberts on Nov. 7 and at Denver on Nov. 9. The Hawks close out the regular season with two of their final three matches at the Betty, beginning with home contests against Kansas City and South Dakota State on Nov. 14 and 16, respectively, while ending the slate in Fargo against NDSU on Nov. 19.
The top-6 teams in the conference standings will advance to the Summit League Volleyball Championships in Kansas City, Mo. from Nov. 24-26.
