MANHATTAN, Kan. – The University of North Dakota women's golf team concluded play at the Powercat Invitational on Tuesday, finishing 14th in the 16-team field at Colbert Hills Golf Course in Manhattan, Kan. to round out the fall portion of its 2025-26 schedule.
The Fighting Hawks posted rounds of 323, 325, and 343 for a three-day total of 991 on the par-72, 6,342-yard layout.
Freshman Sophie Cook led UND with a tie for 43rd place individually, carding rounds of 77, 80, and 86 for a 243 (+27). Emersyn Walker followed closely behind, tying for 46th with a 244 (+28), highlighted by a consistent 82-80-82 scoreline.
Mallory Uselman (255, T70), Lindsay Astrup (267, 82nd), and Gigi Lund (DNF, 88th) rounded out the scoring for North Dakota. Annika Jyrkas, competing as an individual, finished with a 256 (+40) to tie for 73rd.
Kansas State captured the team title with a score of 877, while Nanami Nakashima of the Wildcats earned medalist honors with a 211 (-5).
North Dakota will return to action on Feb. 23 at the El Campeon Collegiate, hosted by Lehigh, from Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.
