GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota volleyball team closes out its home slate and will honor its three seniors on Saturday against St. Thomas at 1 p.m. at Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.
It is the 11th meeting all-time between the Hawks and the Tommies, with the Tommies leading the series 7-3. The two teams squared off on Oct. 16 this season in the Twin Cities, where UND fell in four sets to St. Thomas. The last three sets all went past the normal 25-point win total.
North Dakota is coming off a 3-1 loss to Omaha on Thursday evening at home. The Hawks won set one and got up 9-0 in the second set, before dropping three consecutive frames to the Mavericks.
Paige Barber had a match-high in kills with 17 and
Izzie McCormick had a match best in digs with 26.
The Tommies followed a similar script in their 3-1 loss to North Dakota State on Thursday, taking set one over the Bison before dropping three in a row.

The Hawks will honor three seniors on Saturday, in Barber, McCormick and
Katy Riviere. All three seniors played four season in Grand Forks and combined to play 276 total matches. They have taken action in 937 sets of volleyball and have accumulated 35 wins on the court.
