GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Six members of the North Dakota women's soccer team have earned CSC (College Sports Communicators) Academic All-District distinction, the organization announced on Nov. 25.
The honored Fighting Hawks include
Amelia Loeffler (senior defender, Biology),
Alisha Maake (senior midfielder, Commercial Aviation),
Sarah McCracken (senior midfielder/defender, Accountancy),
Alexis McPhail (graduate student defender, Psychology),
Grace Miller (sophomore goalkeeper, Management) and
Avery Toms (junior midfielder/defender Civil Engineering). 37 total student-athletes from the Summit League were honored with the academic accolade.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and have competed in at least 90% of team total games or started at least 66% of total games.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Dec. 16, 2025 (men) and Dec. 17, 2025 (women).
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
