GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota men's basketball team will host the Crown Polars on Wednesday night from Betty Engelstad Sioux Center at 7 p.m. Coverage can be found on Midco Sports Plus / Summit League Network and heard on 100.3 The Cat, with Paul Ralston on the call.

It is the fourth matchup all-time between UND and Crown, meeting for the first time since Nov. 7, 2019. North Dakota is 3-0 all-time against the Polars, winning the last matchup 86-61. All three matchups have taken place in Grand Forks, with UND winning by an average margin of 37.0 points per contest.

North Dakota is coming off a 79-75 loss against Montana on Saturday night. The Hawks controlled a 10-point second half lead and a 71-66 advantage with 4:32 to play but allowed the Grizzlies to close the game on a 13-4 run.

Scouting the Opposition
Crown comes into this contest with a 3-6 record, currently on a three-game losing streak. The Polars are coming off an 89-87 double-overtime loss against Bethel on Saturday.

The Polars are led by Anthony Knight, averaging 15.6 points, 5.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game. Tyler Smith leads the team in rebounds, grabbing 11.4 boards per contest, headlined by an eight points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists, four blocks and two steals performance Saturday.

The Guga Game
George Natsvlishvili recorded his second career double-double on Saturday against Montana, recording 19 points and 10 rebounds (seven offensive) off the bench. He is the first Hawk to record a double-double since Mier Panoam had 10 points and 12 rebounds against Kansas City on Feb. 8, 2025.

King Doing King Things
Along with 14 points and six rebounds, Eli King recorded five steals on Saturday, good for his third career game with five or more steals. King has recorded two or more steals in 10 games this season, tying Rhode Island's Tyler Cochran (10) for the most multi-steal performances in division l this season.
