Series History: UND vs. The Tommies
After the previous matchup in January where the Tommies topped the Hawks 76-71, the all-time series record is knotted up at 4-4, having gone 1-2 on the road. Last time the teams saw each other, St. Thomas got ahead early. UND mounted a comeback in the fourth quarter, outscoring UST 22-17 but it wasn't enough overcome the deficit.
Walker Demers contributed a career-high 20 points with a team-high 15 rebounds, marking her third career double-double.

Last Time Out: vs. South Dakota State
In what was a tale of two halves, the Fighting Hawks fell 66-45 to RV South Dakota State on Wednesday night at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.
UND opened the game strong, battling to an 11-11 tie after the first quarter.  The Hawks gained momentum in the second, outscoring the Jackrabbits 17-9 and taking a 28-20 lead into halftime. However, the game turned in the third quarter as South Dakota State stormed back with a 21-7 run, reclaiming the lead at 41-35 heading into the final period. SDSU sealed the game in the fourth, outscoring the Fighting Hawks 25-10.Â
Jocelyn Schiller led with 13 points, two steals, and recorded the only assist for the Hawks.
Walker Demers contributed 11 points and five rebounds.
Fatima Ibrahim pulled down seven rebounds and recorded three blocks.
The Jackrabbits forced 21 UND turnovers, scoring 27 points off them. UND forced 12 turnovers, scoring five points off them. SDSU outshot UND from the field 43.6% (24-of-55) to 41.9% (18-of-43). The Jackrabbits also edged the Hawks from the perimeter 35% (7-of-20) compared to 23.5% (4-of-17). SDSU held the advantage from the free throw line 68.8% (11-of-16) to 62.5% (5-of-8). UND outrebounded SDSU 31-28.
