GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Head Coach Henrik Sohn and the University of North Dakota Women's Soccer team announced the promotion of Nicole Randall to Associate Head Coach. Randall has been with North Dakota for a year, entering her second season during the 2025 campaign.

"I am deeply grateful to Henrik, Liz, Bill, Erik, and Chad for this incredible opportunity," said Randall. "I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to all the student-athletes I've had the privilege of working with, both past and present. My appreciation for UND Women's Soccer runs deep, and I'm thrilled to continue collaborating with our athletes, staff, and administration. Henrik's leadership is truly inspiring, and I'm excited to see the remarkable heights we'll reach together as we move forward with this program."

Before UND, Randall most recently served as an assistant women's soccer coach at Texas A&M – Corpus Christi for two seasons. She aided in the recruitment process with the Islanders, including evaluating recruits and scheduling campus visits. Randall coached full team practices and took the lead on small group technical, possession, finishing and position specific training. In Randall's first season at Texas A&M – Corpus Christi, the Islanders got off to their best start in program history with a 6-3 record through the first nine games.

Randall began her coaching career at her alma mater, Fort Hays State, where she spent three seasons as an assistant coach. As a student-athlete, she appeared in 40 games with 17 starts in the Tigers' midfield and scored one goal to go with three assists. She was a key part of Fort Hays State's MIAA Tournament Championship run in 2012 as the team knocked off the No. 3, No. 2, and No. 1 seeds to earn the conference's automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Tournament Randall also spent two years as an assistant with Allen Community College before joining the staff at Idaho.

"I am absolutely thrilled for Nicole Randall on her well-earned promotion to Associate Head Coach," said Head Coach Henrik Sohn. "She has been a vital part of our program, demonstrating unwavering commitment to the development of our student-athletes both on and off the field. Nicole's leadership, dedication, and passion for the game have been instrumental in our team's growth and success. I have no doubt that in this new role, she will continue to elevate our program and make a lasting impact on our Student-Athletes. Congratulations, Nicole."
