GRAND FORKS, N.D. – University of North Dakota's softball head coach
Jordan Stevens announced on Tuesday the additions of utility player Brooklyn Hofer and right-handed pitcher Tegan Livesay. Hofer has three years of eligibility remaining, while Livesay has two years of eligibility remaining.

"We are excited to add both Tegan and Brooklyn to our roster," said Stevens. "Their strong softball backgrounds and solid collegiate experience will make an impact for us on the field and as individuals, they will only strengthen our dugout. Looking forward to getting them to campus and seeing them on the field in the green and white."

Hofer joins the Fighting Hawks after spending one season with Concordia Moorhead. The utility player led the Cobbers in batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage, hitting a slash line of .416/.430/.664 across 38 games and 113 at-bats.

The Cold Spring, Minn. native swatted three home runs and drove in 24 RBIs, earning Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) All-Conference honors. Hofer recorded a hit in 28-of-38 games played, totaling 20 extra-base hits and 14 contests with two or more hits.Â

Livesay arrives in Grand Forks after playing two seasons for Southeast Missouri State, where she logged a 6-6 record, posting a 3.37 ERA across 34 appearances, 23 starts and 110.0 innings.

The right-handed pitcher held batters to a .252 batting average in her two seasons with the Redhawks, headlined by batters hitting just .237 against her in 2024. The Newton, Kan. native has pitched three complete games in her collegiate career, including a seven inning, zero earned run, seven strikeout performance on April 6, 2025 in a win against Lindenwood.
