GRAND FORKS, N.D. – After the 58-7 win against Valparaiso, North Dakota is now No. 14 in the Stats Perform Poll and is tied for No. 15 in the AFCA Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
The MVFC now has seven teams represented in the Stats Perform Poll. North Dakota State (No. 1) and South Dakota State (No. 2) remain at the top, trailed by Illinois State (No. 7) and Southern Illinois (No. 11). North Dakota (No. 14), South Dakota (No. 17) and Youngstown State (No. 24) round out the poll.
In the AFCA Coaches' Top 25, the league continues to have seven teams ranked. The Bison (No. 1), Jackrabbits (No. 2) and Redbirds (No. 5) all continue to be in the top five. The Salukis are just outside the top-10 at No. 12, trailed by the Fighting Hawks tied for No. 15. The Coyotes (No. 18) and Penguins (No. 19) are the final teams from the conference in the poll.
No. 14/15t North Dakota will have a bye this weekend before visiting Northern Iowa at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4. The game will air on ESPN+ and will be carried on the Fighting Hawks Radio Network.
