GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The University of North Dakota men's and women's tennis teams return to the road for another weekend of away competition as the Fighting Hawks split between Iowa and Utah.
Saturday marks the start of competition for UND, first starting with a doubleheader for the men. Action starts at 10 a.m. in St. Peter, Minn., against Gustavus Adolphus before being followed by a 2 p.m. bout against Morningside. The women also begin their weekend on Saturday with a 12 p.m. match against Utah Tech and conclude plan with a 11 a.m. match on Sunday.
Last Time Out
Last weekend put the North Dakota men down in Lincoln, Nebraska for a pair of matches, resulting in an 0-2 showing. The Hawks first fell to Ole Miss, 4-0, in a neutral match on Saturday evening before dropping 4-1 to the host Huskers on Sunday morning.
The Fighting Hawk women faced a pair of matches in Waterloo, Iowa that first resulted in a 6-1 loss to Northern Illinois in a neutral Friday morning bout. UND bounced back on Saturday morning and broke a three-match losing streak with a controlling 6-1 win over the host Northern Iowa.

In the Preseason Summit League Coaches' Poll released on January 14, the North Dakota women were selected third with one first-place vote, while the Fighting Hawk men tied for fourth. The same release named
