GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota men's basketball team plays its final home game of the 2025-26 season, welcoming in Kansas City for Senior Night on Thursday at 7 p.m. from Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.

It is the 17th meeting all-time between the Hawks and the Roos, as UND trails the all-time series 9-7. NoDak defeated Kansas City earlier this season on Jan. 10 by a score of 81-79. UND trailed by 10 in the first half but leaned on Garrett Anderson's 22 points to come away with the road victory.

North Dakota is coming off an 83-66 loss to North Dakota State on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks owned a 32-31 lead at halftime, but were outscored 52-34 in the second half, allowing the Bison to shoot 7-of-12 from deep in the final 20 minutes. Greyson Uelmen led the way with 16 points.

Scouting the Opposition
Kansas City comes into this game with a 4-22 record, owning a 1-11 record in conference play. The Roos have dropped 10 straight games, losing to St. Thomas 104-64 on Saturday.

The Roos are led by Karmello Branch (12.7), CJ Evans (12.0), Jayson Petty (10.8) and Kasheem Grady ll (10.4) offensively, all with the ability to score the basketball.  Evans, Petty and Branch combined for 62 of the Roos 79 points in the first meeting.
