NOTES: UND Tennis Set for Weekend on the Road

| By:
GRAND FORKS, N.D. – North Dakota men's and women's tennis return to the road for another weekend of away action looking to bounce back after a series of losses last weekend and it all begins on Friday morning.

Competition kicks off for UND with a Friday morning women's tennis match against Northern Illinois at 10 a.m. before another 10 a.m. contest against Northern Iowa on Saturday. The Fighting Hawk men will also take to the court on Saturday for a neutral-site match against Ole Miss at 3 p.m. and conclude the weekend against the host team of Nebraska at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

Last Time Out
The North Dakota men faced a loaded schedule of three matches in three days last weekend, resulting in an 0-3 showing for the Fighting Hawks. UND dropped a closely-contested match against IU Indy on Friday, 4-3, before falling to Bellarmine in another tight match on Saturday, 4-3, and Eastern Kentucky on Sunday, 4-2.

On the women's half of competition, the Hawks fell to Nebraska on the road, 7-0, in a Sunday matinee and, on the way home, stopped at Augustana for a Monday match. The comeback ultimately fell short for UND, 3-4, to bring the weekend to an overall 0-2 record.
