NOTES: Women’s Tennis Returns Home for Friday Face-Off

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – After 19 days away from familiar territory, North Dakota women's tennis returns to its home turf advantage at Choice Health & Fitness for a single match on Friday afternoon with competition against Kansas City set to begin at 5 p.m.
 
Last Time Out
The win streak grew to seven matches straight for the Fighting Hawk women, who added in mid-week wins over Nicholls State and New Orleans down in Louisiana to improve to 10-7 overall. Tuesday, March 10 featured a gritty 4-3 win over the Colonels before a convincing 4-2 win over the Privateers on Thursday, March 12 solidified the 2-0 week for UND.

Preseason Rankings and Athletes to Watch
In the Preseason Summit League Coaches' Poll released on January 14, the North Dakota women were selected third with one first-place vote, while the Fighting Hawk men tied for fourth. The same release named Jule Schulte and Leo Galliano as Athletes to Watch in this Summit League this season.

The men will return to competition by squaring off with Drake at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 while the women hit the road to face South Dakota on Friday, March 27 at 12 p.m. in Vermillion.
