NOTES: North Dakota Tennis Splits Between Road and Home

| By:
GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The men's and women's North Dakota tennis teams will split between matches on the road and at home on Friday and Saturday as conference competition kicks into high gear for the Fighting Hawks.

Due to predicted cold temperatures, the women will face South Dakota in a 12 p.m. match on Friday afternoon at Huether Family Match Pointe down in Sioux Falls, S.D., while the men take on Drake on Saturday afternoon in a 12:30 p.m. match inside Choice Health & Fitness.

Last Time Out
Competition last week saw only the women's team in action as the Fighting Hawks faced Kansas City in their second conference match of the season. Strong play helped UND clinch the doubles point before three straight wins in singles competition clinched the team win, which ended in a 5-2 score for the eighth straight team victory.

The last time the UND men hit the courts was back on Thursday, March 12 as part of their spring break trip down south. Quick work in both singles and doubles play resulted in a 4-1 win for North Dakota over New Orleans on the road for a fourth-straight win for the Fighting Hawks.
