GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- University of North Dakota junior men's golfer
Nathan Peyerl was named Summit League Men's Golf Peak Performer of the Week for the second time in his career, as announced by the league office on Thursday morning.
Peyerl placed fourth at the Colin Montgomerie-HCU Invitational with a 54-hole total of 208 (-5), just one stroke shy of matching his career-best tournament score. He fired two rounds under 70 during the event, including an opening-round 68.
The finish marked the fourth top-five result of the West Fargo, N.D., native's career and helped North Dakota secure a tie for fourth place in the team standings at the tournament.
