GRAND FORKS, N.D. – A weekend spent in Oklahoma turns into mid-week matches down in Louisiana for North Dakota men's and women's tennis teams as the Fighting Hawks continue their spring break road trip.
The action all kicks off at 11 a.m. Tuesday afternoon as the women take on Nicholls State in Thibodaux and the men follow with their own match against the Colonels at 3 p.m. Thursday will feature another UND doubleheader, this time against New Orleans with the women at 11 a.m. and the men at 2 p.m.
Last Time Out
It was a marathon Friday match for the North Dakota men, who opened conference competition against Oral Roberts on March 6. Rough outdoor conditions, weather delays and a change of venue eventually culminated in a 6-1 win over the Golden Eagles before Sunday closed the weekend with a strong 5-2 win over Northeastern State.
The Fighting Hawk women continued their hot streaks with an all-around dominating performance over the weekend, first taking down Oral Roberts 6-1 in the opening conference match. It was followed up by a stifling 7-0 sweep of the Northeastern State RiverHawks to mark five straight wins for UND.

In the Preseason Summit League Coaches' Poll released on January 14, the North Dakota women were selected third with one first-place vote, while the Fighting Hawk men tied for fourth. The same release named

North Dakota tennis returns home to the comforting lights of Choice Health and Fitness as the women's team takes on Kansas City at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 20. The men will get two weeks off from competition before squaring off with Drake at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28
