Last Time Out
It was another one-match week for the North Dakota women as the Fighting Hawks hit the road for Denver on Saturday, April 11. Despite dropping the doubles point,
Jule Schulte and
Ethel Li put on a show at the top spot and took home a 6-4 win that would help them earn another weekly conference honor.
Emma Roberts would win the lone singles match of the day with a strong 6-2, 6-4 victory as the Hawks fell 6-1 to the Pioneers.
The UND men took on two matches during the Colorado road trip with one conference and one non-conference battle. Saturday, April 11 saw a 7-0 loss to the nationally-rated Denver Pioneers despite late attempted rallies in singles competition. Sunday brought a match against Air Force for the Fighting Hawks, which ended in hard-fought heartbreak as the threatening major comeback fell just short for a 5-2 loss against the Falcons.
