Keeler Claims Another Peak Performer of the Week Honor

| By:
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Another week, another pair of broken school records and another Women's Track Performer of the Week honor for North Dakota track and field's own Jadyn Keeler league officials announced on Tuesday after the senior rewrote her own history twice during California competition over the weekend.

At the Bryan Clay Invitational, Keeler first dominated in heat one of the invite women's 5000-meter run on Friday. Her clocking of 15:26.98 broke her own previous school record and retained her status as the lone Fighting Hawk in program history to run a sub-16 time in the event. It also currently tops the conference performance list so far this season and sits ninth on the NCAA West Qualifying List.

Her marquee weekend continued when she did it all again on Saturday, this time dominating in the women's invite 1500-meter run. Keeler downed her own school record with a new personal-best clocking of 4:19.41 to claim the top spot on the event performance list in the conference.

This accolade marks the fifth career outdoor weekly honor and 10th overall for the Ontario, Canada-native.

North Dakota track and field returns to action with a single-meet week as the Fighting Hawks take on the Gary Invitational on Wednesday, April 22 as action begins at 9:45 a.m.
