MADISON, Wis. – Tucker D'Allaird fired a career-low 69 to move into the top 10 and help the North Dakota men's golf team climb the leaderboard following the second round of the Badger Invitational on Monday at the University of Wisconsin Golf Course.

The Fighting Hawks improved by eight shots from their opening round, posting a 3-under 285 to move four spots into eighth place with a two-round total of 578. North Dakota sits two shots behind Green Bay for seventh and 10 shots behind St. Thomas for fifth heading into Tuesday's final round. Southern Miss leads the 19-team field at 564.

D'Allaird followed his opening-round 71 with a 3-under 69 to move into a tie for ninth at 4-under 140. The 69 marked a new career low for D'Allaird and puts him in position to chase the first top-10 finish of his collegiate career on Tuesday.

D'Allaird has been especially effective on the longer holes through two rounds, playing the par 5s at 6 under with a 4.40 scoring average, tied for fourth-best in the tournament. He also sits tied for fifth in par-4 scoring at 1 under and is tied for second in the entire field with 11 birdies.

Kagan Kollar and Joseph Kortan joined D'Allaird under par on Monday, each carding rounds of 71. Kollar improved four shots from his opening round to move into a tie for 38th at 146, alongside Nathan Peyerl, who followed Sunday's even-par 72 with a 74. Kortan made a five-shot improvement from his first round and sits tied for 46th at 147, while Carson Skarperud rounds out the UND lineup in a tie for 64th at 149.

The Fighting Hawks have recorded 36 birdies through the opening 36 holes, fifth-most in the 19-team field, while sitting tied for second in par-4 scoring with a 4.06 average.

North Dakota will close out the Badger Invitational with Tuesday's third and final round.
