Before UND: Selected in the fifth round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft (Winnipeg) ... Ranked 80th among North American skaters in NHL Central Scouting's final 2019 draft rankings … Nearly tripled his point output last season, piling up 58 points in 51 games at Chilliwack (33-25--58) ... Scored nine goals and had a dozen assists the year prior ... Father, Mike, was an NHL player for Detroit, NY Rangers, Pittsburgh and Toronto after a collegiate career at Wisconsin.
