2004-05: Played in all 45 games ... Holds school record for most games played in a season (45) without drawing a penalty  (previous record was held by Kelly Cross, who played in all of UND’s 36 games in 1971-72 season without drawing a penalty) ... Team’s fourth-leading scorer with 37 points (16 goals, 21 assists) ... Second on team in goals with 16 ... Named to WCHA Final Five All-tournament team after scoring shorthanded goal to spark UND to 4-2 comeback win over Minnesota in third-place game... Had assist in NCAA East Region final win over Boston College ... Made collegiate debut in a fashionable way with two assists, followed that up the next night with a goal and two assists and was named WCHA rookie of the week Oct. 11... Also named WCHA Rookie of the Week on Feb. 21... Enjoyed points in his first five games as a Fighting Sioux (3) goals and (5) assists for (8) points... Had eight multiple-point games as rookie... Finished 16th nationally in points per game by a rookie (0.82)... Tied for third in the WCHA in freshman scoring with 20 points.

Before UND: Spent the 2003-04 season with Tri-Cities of the USHL ... Ranked 10th in the league in regular season scoring with 57 points (35 goals, 22 assists) in 55 games ... Ranked sixth in the league in playoff scoring with nine points (five goals, four assists) in 11 games ... Had a +23 rating and 23 penalty minutes ... Spent the 2002-03 season playing for MHC, a club team in Slovakia ... Two-time member of Team Slovakia at the World Junior Championships ... 2003 MVP of the Slovak Extra League.
