Recovered first career fumble vs. Cal Poly (Sept. 29) and had a pass break-up to go with three solo stops in win over Montana (Oct. 20) ... Recipient of the 2012 Athletic Directors Award of Merit ... 2011 (Redshirt Freshman): Started all 11 games at right cornerback during his first collegiate season ... Earned coaches' honorable All-Great West honors after posting 30 tackles and a pair of interceptions during the season ... Had a solo stop and first career pick in the season-opening win vs. Drake (Sept. 1) ... Had four solo tackles at Fresno State (Sept. 17) ... Posted two solo stops and two pass breakups vs. Black Hills State (Sept. 24) ... Added four tackles and his second interception of the season in the Great West opener at Southern Utah (Oct. 1) ... The interception occured in the end zone during the final minute of play, preventing a Thunderbirds' rally ... Had five tackles at UC Davis (Nov. 11) ...
