Before UND: A 2009 graduate of Sauk Rapids-Rice High School ... Four-time letterwinner in swimming ... Named 4A Swimmer of the Year ... Placed fourth in the 100 back (55.30) and the 100 free ( 48.49) at the 2009 Minnesota Boys AA State Swimming and Diving Championship ... Also took seventh in the 400 free relay (3:20.96) ... Two-year letterwinner in track and field ... Also participated in football.
