2009: Ended his sophomore campaign with a career-high .277 batting average and led the team in runs (36) … Started all 43 games in centerfield … Earned a spot on the Independent All-Academic Team … One of only three Sioux to start every game in the same position … Moved to the leadoff spot in the order after the fifth game of the season and remained there for the next 38 contests … Also led the team in walks (24) and being hit by a pitch (10 times) … His .389 on-base percentage was the third highest mark on the team and tied for second with seven stolen bases … Had a stretch of eight straight games where he scored at least one run … Crossed the plate a season-high three times in a 13-9 win at Saint Louis (March 18) … Had a pair of three-hit games, including a 3-for-4 effort in the school’s first Division I victory at Missouri State (March 6) … Posted a pair of five-game hitting streaks during the campaign … Finished with 12 multi-hit games.

2008: One of seven players to start at least 30 games for the Sioux ... A majority of those starts came in center field where he made 26 ... Also had three starts at second base and one in left field ... Had 16 hits, two doubles and 13 RBIs during the campaign ... Was a perfect 5-for-5 in stolen base attempts ... Shared the team lead with five steals.

2007: Redshirted.

Before UND: A 2006 graduate of Devils Lake High School ... A four-year letterwinner for the Firebird baseball team ... A three-time letterwinner for the basketball and football teams ... A two-time all-state and two-time most valuable player selection for baseball ... A two-time all-state selection, most valuable player and Eastern Dakota Conference Athlete of the Year for football ... 2005 North Dakota Wendy’s High School Heisman selection ... Named Math Student of the Year.
