2009: Made nine starts as a true freshman and shared the team lead with four wins … The team won six of his nine starts – the best tally on the team … Threw a scoreless inning of relief at New Mexico State (Feb. 21) in his collegiate debut … Also added a scoreless two-thirds of an inning of relief at Nebraska (Feb. 25) before making his first collegiate start at Missouri State (March 7) … Won his last four starts of the season, including tossing a pair of back-to-back complete games (seven innings) at South Dakota State (April 20) and vs. Concordia (April 24) … The victory against the Jackrabbits was the first of his career as he allowed only four earned runs combined in the two complete games … Named the Great West Pitcher of the Week following the victory over SDSU … Logged 54 innings in his rookie season – the third most on the team and his 5.83 ERA was tops among the Sioux starters.

Before UND: Earned four letters in baseball ... Named MVP of his team as a senior after logging a 3-1 record with a 0.85 E.R.A. as a senior ... Posted a 10-2 career record with a career E.R.A. of 1.92 ... Earned all-conference honors once and was a two-time all-conference honorable mention recipient.
