ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Concordia-St. Paul, the fourth-ranked team in the nation, beat North Dakota in three straight games. CSP finished with only 14 attack errors and hit .392 in the win. CSP improves to 26-2 and UND falls to 5-18 on the season.
Concordia- St. Paul freshman Emily Palkert had a game-high 14 kills in the contest. Palkert finished with a .737 attack percentage in the game (14k-0e-19Att.).
UND was led on offense by sophomore Britta Hanson (Thompson, N.D.). Hanson had a team-high 11 kills in the contest. Hanson hit .345 in the match (11k-1e-29Att.). Setter Megan Langseth (So., Alexandria, Minn.) totaled 29 set assists in the contest and sophomore Amanda Polzin (Hutchinson, Minn.) tallied nine kills in the game.
Defensively, the Sioux were led by sophomore Stephanie Mason (Excelsior, Minn.). Mason had nine digs in the game. Freshman Courtney Halvorson's (Oklee, Minn.) seven-game streak of recording double-figure totals came to an end as Halvorson finished with eight digs against the Golden Bears.
UND returns to action tomorrow night against South Dakota at 8:00 p.m. in the Dakota Dome.
