ST. CLOUD, MINN. -- The Fighting Sioux baseball team's season ended at the hands of the St. Cloud State Huskies by the score of 10-4. UND finishes the season 19-19 overall and St. Cloud State improves to 15-28 on the year.
UND led 2-1 after the first inning, but SCSU stormed back by scoring four runs in the first two innings. SCSU would add two more runs in the fifth, two in the sixth and two in the ninth.
UND would score its final two runs in the sixth inning off of Scott Schmidt's single to right field. Schmidt scored Tim Burns and Bo Stanley on the play.
Michael Lueck took the loss on the mound going four innings, allowing seven hits and six runs. Lueck finishes the season 4-5.
Seniors Nate Meissner and Tim Burns and junior Scott Schmidt each had two hits in the game. Ryne Jungling and Bo Stanley each had a hit in the contest.
UND finishes their season with a 19-19 overall record and 7-13 in the NCC.
