ABERDEEN, S.D.--Junior Britta Hanson had a game-high 12 kills and redshirt freshman Devin Trefz added 10 to lead the Fighting Sioux to a 3-0 non-conference victory over host Presentation College tonight at the Strode Center.
UND won by scores of 25-9, 25-19 and 25-15 to improve to 15-2, while the Saints fell to 0-9.
Hanson, the reigning Great West Conference Player of the Week, hit .521 with just one attack error to once again serve as the catalyst for the Sioux offense. The Thompson, N.D., native also chipped in with three block assists.
Trefz, a native of Bagley, Minn., was nearly as efficient, committing just one attack error in 23 attempts while hitting .391.
Junior setter Megan Langseth (Alexandria, Minn.) had 20 assists for the Sioux, who received another 18 assists from freshman Jessika Weber (Idaho Falls, Idaho).
The Sioux were led defensively by Annika Smed's (Fr., Albert Lea, Minn.) 12 digs and four block assists.
Heidi Meier registered a team-high nine kills for Presentation.
The Fighting Sioux will conclude a nine-game road swing at Valley City State on Tuesday and Dickinson State on Wednesday before returning home to host a return date with Presentation on Oct. 7.
