Each Tuesday, senior setter Megan Langseth will provide Sioux fans with a glimpse inside the UND volleyball program with an installment of her 'Trend Setter' blog.

Volume 6: Tuesday, Oct. 6

We have a big week ahead of us with a trip down to Texas! We leave on Wednesday morning and will fly into Houston to play against Texas Pan-American on Thursday.  Then, we're driving back to Houston to play Houston Baptist on their home court.  We have already beaten these two opponents on our home court earlier this year, so we are familiar with how they play the game.  However, we're not looking past either of them and need to concentrate on our game plan to beat the competition.

This week we're really focusing on taking each day as it comes.  Losing this past week to Utah Valley was not in our game plan. This week at practice it has been about paying close attention to the skills that we need to improve on, so we can beat the future competition.  We're preparing physically and mentally each day.

I know we will be ready for these two road games and to get back on a winning streak again.  We're not looking past anyone, but focusing on the task at hand in hopes to continue to win and obtain our ultimate goal: a Great West Conference Championship!
