GRAND FORKS, N.D. - University of North Dakota head baseball coach Jeff Dodson announced on Monday that the Sioux baseball program will conduct an open tryout session Aug. 26-27 in Grand Forks.

The tryout session is open to all full-time, academically eligible UND students who are registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center. To register, go to www.eligibilitycenter.org.

A mandatory meeting for all prospective student-athletes will be held at Apollo Park Diamond Four on Aug. 26 at 2 p.m. The tryout session will take place on Aug. 27 at 2 p.m. at Apollo Park.

Students attending the meeting are required to bring the following: 

• A completed UND Team Tryout Waiver (Individuals under 18, download this form) and Information Sheet.
  
• Proof of medical insurance
• Proof of a doctor's physical within the last six months
• Proof of current, full-time enrollment at UND
