GRAND FORKS, N.D. — Sophomore
Greg Hardin (Bellevue, Neb.) was one of 38 Football Championship Subdivision wide receivers named to the College Football Performance Awards' preseason watch list released this week. The organization is releasing watch lists throughout the summer for each position group for which it has an annual award.
Hardin caught 41 passes for 736 yards during his redshirt freshman season in 2010. His nine touchdown receptions were the third most in the Great West Conference as he garnered All-GWC second team accolades following the campaign.
He had a stretch of six consecutive games where he caught at least one touchdown, including a three-touchdown performance in a victory over Northwestern State. Hardin had five catches for a season-high 177 yards in that contest and reached the 100-yard receiving plateau on two more occasions (six catches for 171 yards at Northern Illinois and six catches for 136 yards at Cal Poly).
