UND lands at No. 8 in final regular-season polls

Grand Forks, N.D. -- The North Dakota football team landed in the No. 8 spot in both the STATS FCS and FCS Coaches Top 25 final regular-season polls released over the last two days. The Fighting Hawks were off this past weekend as a majority of the FCS teams completed their regular seasons.

UND learned this past Sunday that it would be the No. 7 seed in its inaugural FCS playoff bracket and will play the winner of this Saturday's Richmond-North Carolina A&T contest that will kickoff on ESPN3 at 1 p.m. CT.

The Fighting Hawks have never played either the Spiders or Aggies on the gridiron. UND's second-round NCAA Tournament game is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT at the Alerus Center. Fans can purchase tickets here.
