ABOUT PURDUE FORT WAYNE
It has been a bit of a roller coaster conference season for the Mastodons this season, but Purdue Fort Wayne currently sits in third place in the league standings.
After jumping out to a 4-0 start, the Dons lost their next three before rattling off five straight wins. Since then, however, Purdue Fort Wayne has lost back-to-back games at Omaha and at South Dakota State to fall back from the title race.
John Konchar is just 10 points shy of accomplishing a feat never done in the history of NCAA Division I men's basketball as the senior will become the first to record 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 500 assists, and 200 steals. He currently leads the team in points per game (19.6), rebounds per game (8.3), assists per game (5.5), and steals per game (1.9)
