Box Score OMAHA, Neb. - The University of North Dakota men's tennis team won a 5-2 decision to Omaha on Sunday morning at the Westside Tennis Courts.

In doubles play, North Dakota jumped out to a 1-0 lead by taking two of the three doubles matches. Lukas Buth and Nejc Sitar teamed up to take down Davis Lawley and Nathen Reekie 6-2 on court one. On court two, Davide Callegari and Johnnie Carmichael joined forces to top Abdoul Ouattara and Matt Dunn 7-5.

In singles play, UND jumped out to a 3-0 lead with wins in the No. 2 and No. 3 matches. The Mavericks then got on the board when Nejc Sitar was defeated by Omaha's Abdoul Ouattara 7-5, 6-2 in No. 1 singles play. 

To clinch the team win, UND's Davide Callegari topped Matt Dunn 6-4, 7-6 (10-3) in the No. 5 spot, while Alex Reinke defeated Alex Woodward 6-1, 2-6, 7-5 in the No. 6 spot. 

To finish off the dual, Omaha's Davis Lawley downed UND's Jake Kuhlman 7-6 (10-5), 3-6, 6-2 in No. 4 singles to add the second point on the day for the Mavericks.

Today's win puts North Dakota at 11-8 overall. They will try to add another W to their win column as they take on Oral Roberts April 13 at 11:30 am at Choice Health and Fitness in Grand Forks.
