The University of North Dakota men's basketball program will conclude its stay at the Paradise Classic in Boca Raton, Fla., on Sunday, battling Tennessee-Martin at 1 p.m. (CT) at Albessinio Court at FAU arena. Series History vs. UTM
This will be the third meeting between North Dakota and UT-Martin, with UND picking up the victory in the first-ever meeting by a tally of 79-64 in Grand Forks on Dec. 12, 1979. UTM won the second meeting between the two squads with a 62-59 win in Martin, Tenn., on Dec. 5, 1980.
Last Time Out
North Dakota was upended 98-79 by Florida Atlantic at the Paradise Classic on Saturday night.
Caleb Nero led the Hawks with a career-high 23 points, followed by
Matt Norman and
Paul Bruns each adding 11.
Narrow Victories
In its two wins this season, North Dakota has won by an average of 2.0 points. The Fighting Hawks overcame a 14-point deficit on Monday to defeat Montana 79-77 in the final seconds inside the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. After leading by 14 in the second half, UND held on for a 74-72 win over Troy in the opening game of the Paradise Classic.
