GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- The University of North Dakota soccer team returns home after a shortened road trip to the Bayou State for a pair of contests against Bemidji State and Northern State on Friday and Tuesday. The showdown against the Beavers will begin at 3 p.m. while Tuesday's match against the Wolves starts at 4 p.m. Both matches will be at Bronson Field.

Fans can watch both games on UND Insider for free, weather permitting on FightingHawks.com or through the Fighting Hawks mobile app. Live stats will also be available for both contests and can be found at the links provided along the side of the page.

LAST TIME OUT
Bailey McNitt finished with a career-best two goals, while Julia BriggsTaylor Preston, and Allison Rapaduski scored their first career goals for North Dakota in the team's 7-0 win over Southern last Saturday afternoon down in Baton Rouge, La. While North Dakota finished with 19 shots on goal, Southern placed six on frame, all of which were saved by Madi Livingston in her 61 minutes on the pitch. Redshirt freshman Abby Ellenberger made her first official appearance between the sticks in the final 29 minutes of action. The duo will combine for UND's first clean sheet of the season.

Due to Hurricane Ida, the weekend finale at Nicholls State was cancelled.

SERIES HISTORY AGAINST BEMIDJI STATE
This will be the 11th all-time meeting between North Dakota and Bemidji State, with the Fighting Hawks holding a 7-3 lead in the series. Despite the series lead, however, UND has dropped the previous three meetings against the Beavers, including a 1-0 defeat in the last meeting on Sept. 9, 2018 at East Grand Forks Senior High. UND's last win over BSU was a 4-1 victory at Bronson Field on Aug. 25, 2006.

SERIES HISTORY AGAINST NORTHERN STATE
Tuesday will mark the sixth meeting between UND and Northern State, with both sides picking up a pair of wins and a tie. The series has alternated wins and losses, with the Wolves claiming victories in 1999 and 2006 while UND won in 2004 and 2008. The last meeting was a 2-2 tie in Grand Forks on Sept. 15, 2009.

SENIOR RECOGNITION ON TAP FOR FRIDAY
UND will honor its six seniors after the game on Friday against Bemidji State. Fans are encouraged to stick around and salute the senior class as they prepare for their final seasons as Fighting Hawks.

All students in attendance on Friday will receive a free North Dakota soccer shirt.
