DES MOINES, Iowa -- The University of North Dakota women's tennis team fell, 7-0, to Iowa State on Saturday evening in the second of three straight matches to open up the 2022 slate.
After a tough loss on Friday to Illinois State, UND (0-2) couldn't muster any set victories against a strong Big 12 opponent.
Sapir Sela put up a strong match against the No. 27 ranked Thasaporn Naklo, falling by a 6-1, 6-3 score on the top court.
North Dakota returns to action tomorrow at noon against Creighton, a team that the Fighting Hawks defeated last season in Grand Forks.
