CHESTERTON, Ind. – North Dakota sophomore
Zach Hinschberger carded a 232 (77,76,79) at the Valpo Fall Invitational to lead the Fighting Hawks.
Grayson Wetch followed closely behind with a 234 (77, 83, 74).
Brandon McGarry also finished with 234 as he started with a 79 then carded a 77 and 78. Overall, the team scored a 928 to end the Invitational.
Lucas Feterl and
Alex Skarperud rounded out the Invitational for North Dakota. Feterl recorded a 235 as he ended the first round with an 82 and improved to a 77 and 76 in the second and third rounds. Skarperud ended with a 237 after scoring a 77, 82 and 78.
The invitational highlight was Wetch scoring the lowest round on the team with a 74.

- Valparaiso claimed the Valpo Fall Invitational win as they carded a 848 as a team.
- The champion was Anthony Delisanti from Valparaiso who scored a 208 (70, 69, 69).
- The Fighting Hawks ended the Invitational with a 928.
Next Round
- The Fighting Hawks will continue their fall competitions at Drake for the Zach Johnson Invite on Sept. 26-27.
- The two-day event will be contested on the Glen Oaks Country Club course in West Des Moines, Iowa.
