GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The University of North Dakota track & field team released its 2023-24 indoor track & field schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The slate features 10 regular season meets and a pair of home meets that will take place inside the Pollard Athletic Center.
UND will begin its season in December with three away meets. The season kicks off with the SDSU Holiday Invitational in Brookings on Dec. 1-2. That same weekend, a portion of the team will travel to Boston for the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener on Dec. 2. The 2023 portion of the schedule will conclude the following weekend, with the Fighting Hawks competing in the Dakota Alumni Classic in Fargo on Dec. 8.
The team will open 2024 with a pair of away meets, traveling to the Bison Team Cup (Jan. 13) in Fargo and then the Jim Emmerich Invitational (Jan. 20) in Brookings. UND's first home meet of the season will take place on Jan. 26-27 with the UND Open.
The regular season will conclude in February with three away meets and then the UND Tune-Up. The Fighting Hawks will start the month in Fargo at the Bison Open (Feb. 2-3) before traveling to Brookings the following weekend for the SDSU Indoor Classic (Feb. 9-10). The same weekend of the SDSU Indoor Classic, a portion of the team will travel to Boston for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational (Feb. 9-10).
NoDak will close out its regular season inside the Pollard Athletic Center on Feb. 17 with the UND Tune-Up. The following week, the Summit League Championships will take place in Fargo on Feb. 23-24.
Qualifiers for the NCAA Indoor Championships will wrap-up the indoor season in Boston on March 8-9.
