GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota softball team has announced Michaela Paper as their new assistant softball coach. Paper has previously served as the Assistant Softball Coach at Buena Vista University and Assistant Coach at Alta-Aurelia High School. She was a member of the BVU Softball team from 2016-21.
While at Buena Vista, she oversaw recruitment, organizing study hours and logistics for the team in addition to her on-field coaching responsibilities.
Coach Jordan Stevens said about the hire, "Michaela will be a great addition to our program. She wore many different hats as part of her previous experience at Buena Vista and we know she will connect immediately with everyone in and around our program. As a former player she brings a strong softball acumen to the staff and will make an impact immediately!"
