NOTES: No. 6/7 UND, No. 13 SCSU set for first place clash

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – It's a battle for first place in the NCHC standings, as No. 6/7 North Dakota hits the road to play No. 13 St. Cloud State beginning on Friday night at 7:37 from the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud, Minn.

All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app, with longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy and Darrin Looker calling the action. Friday's game can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox), the flagship station of North Dakota hockey. 

Friday's game can be seen on Midco Sports and also watched online through NCHC.tv with a subscription.

Friday will be the 147th all-time meeting between North Dakota and St. Cloud State, with UND holding an 80-49-17 advantage in the series.

The teams met five times last season, with the Huskies finishing with a 4-1-0 record in the contests, including the 2023 NCHC Frozen Faceoff Semifinals.

UND is just 1-5-2 since 2017 in St. Cloud, with the lone win coming during the 2021-22 season.
