Fighting Hawks sit No. 21/23 in latest polls

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – After the 35-31 loss at Indiana State, North Dakota remains in the Stats Perform Poll at No. 21 and in the AFCA Coaches' Top 25 Poll at No. 23.
 
The MVFC has five teams represented in the Stats Perform Poll. North Dakota State remains No. 1, trailed by South Dakota State at No. 3 and South Dakota at No. 5. Illinois State is No. 18, while North Dakota rounds out the poll for the conference at No. 21.
 
In the AFCA Coaches' Top 25, the league continues to have six teams ranked. The Bison hold the top spot, followed by the Jackrabbits (No. 3) and Coyotes (No. 5). The Bears (No. 15) and Redbirds (No. No. 17) both moved up in the poll, while the Fighting Hawks dropped to No. 23.
 
No. 21/23 North Dakota will host No. 3/3 South Dakota State at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be televised on Midco Sports and carried on the Fighting Hawks Radio Network.
