NOTES: No. 16/18 North Dakota closes out 2024 with No. 9 St. Cloud State

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The final series of 2024 is here, as No. 16/18 North Dakota is set to battle No. 9 St. Cloud State in a series beginning on Friday night at 7:07 p.m. from Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D.
 
All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app, with longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy, who is in his 45th year on the mic for UND hockey, and Mike LaMoine calling the action. Friday's game can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox), the flagship station of North Dakota hockey. 
 
Friday's game can be seen on Midco Sports with Alex Heinert and Jim Scanlan calling the action. Taylor Budge and Erik Fabian join the crew as the pregame, intermission and postgame hosts. Fans can also watch online through NCHC.tv with a subscription.

Friday will be the 149th all-time meeting between North Dakota and St. Cloud State, with UND holding an 81-49-18 advantage in the series.
 
After playing five times in 2022-23, the two sides only met twice last year in St. Cloud. The Fighting Hawks won the series with a 5-3 win on Friday and skating to a 3-3 tie in Saturday's finale.
 
UND has not hosted SCSU since Feb. 17-18, 2023 when the two teams played to a pair of overtime games.
